1. Overview
Cookies and similar storage (such as sessionStorage or localStorage) help websites remember preferences, keep sessions secure, and—when enabled—measure usage. This policy describes what we use today and how that may change.
2. Marketing website
On our marketing / lead-capture site (e.g. connect.blutec.ai), we currently use limited client storage:
- sessionStorage — to remember that a lead or demo modal was already shown in the browser session, so we do not repeatedly interrupt browsing
- localStorage — accessibility preferences only (text size, contrast, and similar options). These are stored on this site in your browser. No third-party accessibility service is used, and these preferences are not sent to analytics providers.
We do not presently load third-party website analytics tags or advertising cookies on this marketing site. If we introduce analytics or non-essential cookies later, we will update this Policy and our Privacy Policy.
3. Platform / app cookies
When you log into the BluTec Connect platform, we (or our infrastructure) may set cookies or similar technologies that are essential for authentication and session security—for example, to keep you signed in, protect against misuse of sessions, and maintain tenant context.
These are required for the service to function and are not used for third-party advertising on the app.
4. Categories
a. Essential
- Auth / session cookies on the platform
- Security-related storage needed to operate the service
- Limited marketing-site session storage for lead-modal UX (as described above)
- First-party localStorage for accessibility preferences only — no third-party accessibility widgets or trackers
b. Analytics & similar (future)
We may in future use first- or third-party analytics to understand site performance. Those would be optional / non-essential unless strictly required for security. We will describe them here before or when they are enabled.
5. Browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear site storage. Blocking essential platform cookies may prevent login or break features. Clearing sessionStorage may cause the lead modal to appear again on the marketing site.
